Prerequisites for Aviatrix Secure Edge Deployment for Equinix Network Edge
The following are the prerequisites to deploy an Aviatrix Edge Gateway on Equinix Network Edge.
1. Obtain an Equinix Fabric Account
If you do not already have an Equinix Fabric account, contact your Equinix representative or visit their website to create an account.
2. Onboard Equinix Platform Account
To access Equinix platform and provision the edge virtual device to deploy Edge Gateway, you will need to first set up an Equinix platform account in CoPilot. To create the account, see Setting up Accounts for Edge Platforms.
3. Provide Network Access
Refer to Aviatrix Edge Gateway Ports and Protocols for the network access requirements for the Edge Gateway to communicate with the Aviatrix Controller, Aviatrix CoPilot, and the Aviatrix Transit Gateway.
4. Obtain Edge Gateway Interface Configurations
You will need to provide the following information during Edge Gateway creation to configure your Edge Gateway interfaces.

(Optional) The Secondary DNS server IP address. Not required for DHCP. |
