Troubleshoot the CoPilot Migration

When performing the CoPilot migration to Appliance V3, you may encounter certain issues or challenges. Here are some troubleshooting steps to help address potential challenges during the migration process:

Errors while Still on the Old CoPilot UI

When you encounter errors while still on the old CoPilot UI, you can:

  1. Check the error message under Settings > Maintenance > CoPilot Management > View Progress.

  2. Address the issue based on the error message and rerun the migration.

  3. If the new CoPilot has already been deployed according to the progress log, delete the new CoPilot before rerunning the migration.

  4. If the same error persists, reach out to Aviatrix Support for further assistance.

Errors after Deploying the New CoPilot

When you receive error messages resemble any of the following:

  • "Controller API fails" error

  • "Migration Failed During CoPilot Initialization" error

  • "Restore CoPilot Data failed" error

It is recommended to contact Aviatrix support for help.

"Session timeout" Error

If you receive a "Session timeout. Please log in again" error message on the login page of the CoPilot after migration:

  1. Wait for 1-2 minutes.

  2. After the waiting period, attempt to log in to the new CoPilot again.

This delay allows the new CoPilot to complete its initialization process, and you should be able to log in the new CoPilot.
