CoPilot Backup and Restore

This section discusses how to back up different types of CoPilot configuration, CoPilot index data and restore them from the backup. In the CSP environment, to provide backup to your data, you can leverage instance snapshot methodology in the cloud. You can configure periodic snapshots, based on your preferred interval, to be able to retain data in case of corruption or disk loss on EBS.

Version Requirements for Controller and CoPilot Backup and Restore

The following table lists the minimum version requirements essential for performing Controller and CoPilot backup and restore among different cloud service providers. Make sure you meet this minimum version requirement to ensure successful backup, restore, and migration processes for the Controller and Copilot services.

The Controller and CoPilot Config Backup/Restore operations are applicable to all cloud platforms. The CoPilot Instance Migration is currently only exclusive to AWS.
