Setting up AWS Transit Gateway Direct Connect

Connect this AWS TGW to an AWS Direct Connect Gateway to enable data sharing between your AWS TGW network and an on-prem environment.

Setting up Direct Connect

This step assumes that you have created Direct Connect Gateway and Transit Virtual Interface from AWS Console.

You may need to update the Controller IAM policies for this function.

To set up an AWS TGW Direct Connect:

Go to Aviatrix CoPilot > Networking > Connectivity > select the AWS TGW tab > select an existing AWS TGW.
Select the Attachments tab.
Select the Direct Connect tab.
Click + Direct Connect.

Setting	Value
AWS TGW	The name of a TGW.
AWS Direct Connect Gateway	The AWS Direct Connect Gateway you created from the AWS Console.
Allowed Prefix CIDRs	A list of comma-separated CIDRs for DXGW to advertise to remote (on-prem)
Learned CIDRs Approval	Turn this setting on to enable Learned CIDR Approval. This option applies to BGP mode only.
Network Domain Name	Select a Network Domain for this connection.
