Removing Transit FireNet

When you remove Transit FireNet, you only remove the FireNet functionality. The Transit Gateway still exists and remains accessible from the Cloud Fabric > Gateways > Transit Gateways tab.

To remove Transit FireNet functionality from an Azure or GCP Transit Gateway, delete the gateway and create a new Azure or GCP Transit Gateway without FireNet functionality (Transit Egress Capability).

To remove a Transit FireNet, in CoPilot:

  1. Go to Security > FireNet tab. A table of Transit FireNets appears.

  2. In the table, locate the Transit FireNet to delete and click the Remove icon in its row. A confirmation dialog appears.

  3. Read and understand the confirmation message and tick the checkbox.

CoPilot deletes the FireNet Gateway along with its associated instances and attachments. FireNet functionality has now been removed from this Transit gateway.
  4. Click Remove.

The FireNet Gateway is deleted along with its instances and attachments.
