To remove the firewall association, you can either disassociate or delete the firewall. Disassociating a firewall removes its association with its FireNet instance, but keeps the firewall available for future use. Deleting a firewall removes the firewall and its association with its FireNet instance.

Disassociating a Firewall

When you remove (or disassociate) the firewall association, the firewall will no longer be associated with its FireNet instance. To disassociate a firewall:
  1. In CoPilot, go to Security > FireNet > Firewall tab. A table of deployed firewalls appears.
  2. Click the vertical ellipsis 25 next to the firewall and then click Remove Association.
  3. When prompted, select I understand the implications and then click Remove.
The firewall is disassociated.

Deleting a Firewall

When you delete a firewall you also remove its association with its FireNet instance. You can only delete firewalls you created on the Security > FireNet > Firewall tab. To delete a firewall:
  1. In CoPilot, go to Security > FireNet > Firewall tab. A table of deployed firewalls appears.
  2. Click the Delete icon 25 next to the firewall to delete it.
  3. When prompted, select I understand the implications and then click Delete.
The firewall is deleted.
