Configuring SMTP Service for Controller-Generated Alert Emails

You can configure the SMTP service you want to use for Controller-generated alert emails. By default, the SMTP service is provided by a third party, Sendgrid. Even though Aviatrix implements third-party risk monitoring, we are not responsible for Sendgrid controls. Aviatrix recommends that you configure your own SMTP service.

To configure the SMTP service:

This functionality requires a Controller software build version higher than 7.1.1577.

  1. Go to CoPilot > Monitor > Notifications > Settings.

  2. In SMTP Service, click Configure.

  3. Type the required properties in each field and click Configure.
