The Aviatrix PaaS console provides visibility into your cloud resources, such as the VPCs, VNets, subnets, and virtual machines you have in any cloud. You can view details from Cloud Resources > Cloud Assets.

View VPC/VNets Details

On the Cloud Resources > Cloud Assets > VPC/VNets & Subnets page, the Aviatrix PaaS console shows VPCs and VNets that were discovered in your CSP environment. The PaaS console displays in a single table all the VPCs and VNets, and associated subnets, running in your clouds and discovered by Aviatrix PaaS. From this page you can also onboard and offboard your VPCs and VNets. The table columns display information about the VPCs and VNets, including cloud name, region, ID, IP address CIDRs, whether the resource is managed by Aviatrix, and other details. You can use the accordion arrow accordion arrow to expand a row to view details about the subnets associated with each VPC or VNet. Clicking the link in the Name column accesses a list of related route tables. A VPC or VNet can be marked as Aviatrix managed where:
  • Aviatrix managed = Yes — Indicates the VPC/VNet has been onboarded to the Aviatrix PaaS console and Aviatrix resources exist in the VPC/VNet.
  • Aviatrix managed = No — Indicates the VPC/VNet has not been onboarded to the PaaS console and no Aviatrix resources exist in the VPC/VNet.
  • Aviatrix managed = Error — Indicates an attempt was made to onboard a VPC/VNet to the PaaS console, but onboarding failed.
Aviatrix managed VPCs and VNets should only be offboarded by using the Aviatrix PaaS console. Removing them using your cloud service provider (CSP) tools can cause issues with the Aviatrix PaaS state.
You can use the filter and search functions to sort and find specific VPCs and VNets. Related Topics

View Virtual Machine Details

On the Cloud Resources > Cloud Assets > Virtual Machines page, you can see details about the VMs that were discovered in your CSP environment. The Aviatrix PaaS console provides information about all the virtual machines running in your clouds, for cloud accounts onboarded onto Aviatrix PaaS. A table displays details such as cloud name, region, VPC ID, tags, instance type, and more. Aviatrix PaaS creates a set of tags that are synchronized with your CSP account. All tags within your CSP, including those created by Aviatrix, are detected by the Aviatrix PaaS console and displayed under Tags in the table. You can use the filter and search functions to sort and find specific VMs.

View Kubernetes Cluster Details

You can see details about the Kubernetes clusters onboarded to Aviatrix PaaS from the Cloud Resources > Cloud Assets > Kubernetes Clusters page in the Aviatrix PaaS console. From this page you can onboard and offboard Kubernetes clusters and create a Kubernetes SmartGroup. The table columns provided for each cluster include the following: You can filter and refresh the table, as well as hide or show table columns. You can also download a copy of the table in CSV or XLSX formats.
