This document provides image release notes for Aviatrix Controller and Gateway images across supported cloud providers:

Images for Each Software Version

Aviatrix Controller software images are listed in a table by the software release number. Below the table are descriptions of each Controller and Gateway image release. Aviatrix Controller releases have two versioning tracks, depending on the Linux OS version supported.
  • Newer Linux OS: Supported on generation 4 (g4) Controller software versions
    • 8.0.0 and later
  • Newer Linux OS: Supported on generation 3 (g3) Controller software versions
    • 7.2.5090, 7.2.5012, 7.2.4996, 7.2.4820
    • 7.1.4208, 7.1.4191, 7.1.4183, 7.1.4139, 7.1.4105, or 7.1.3958
  • Older Linux OS: Supported on generation 2 Controller software versions
    • 7.1.4101, 7.1.3956, and earlier
Beginning with release 7.1.3958, images have a new naming scheme.The generation 3 images that support the newer Linux OS are indicated by “g3” in the table below. All other images are generation 2.Older gateway image numbers with a “u” in the name, such as “aviatrix-companion-gateway-v10u,” support both managed and unmanaged disk gateways.
