This section provides the purpose, elements, and actions performed on the Dashboard pages.

Purpose

The Dashboard page shows real-time—high-level view of network health, resource inventory, connectivity status, and security posture across all onboarded cloud environments

Dashboard topology canvas: Interactive map that shows the physical views of your Multi-Cloud Network Architecture (MCNA)

Dashboard: Elements

Health cards: Shows real-time health status of the following:
- CoPilot Health
- Controller Health
- Controller Upgrade (Shown when a Controller upgrade is the next recommended action; hidden when you are up to date or when gateway upgrades are next)
- Gateway Upgrade (Shown when gateway upgrades are the next recommended action after the Controller is on the required version; hidden otherwise)
- Global Platform Health (Shows open platform-level alerts)
- Gateways Health
- Connection Health
- Detected Intrusions (Shows detected threats and intrusions)

Dashboard: Elements

Resource Distribution charts: Shows count and statuses of the following resources:
- Cloud Accounts
- VPC/VNets
- Transit Gateways
- Spoke Gateways
- Edge Gateways
- Other Gateways

Dashboard: Elements

Pie charts and Graphs: Shows distribution of the following resources:
- Visualizes the VM count/statuses by:
  - Cloud
  - Type
  - Status
- Visualizes the gateways count/statuses by:

Viewing Health Dashboard

To view the Health Dashboard, in Aviatrix CoPilot, click Dashboard. The Dashboard page appears with the Aviatrix Copilot and Controller health status.The following Parameter Details table shows the Dashboard parameters to understand the health status of the CoPilot and Controller.

Parameter Details

CoPilot Parameter Name	Description
Health
Geographic map	Shows the geographic locations of Aviatrix-managed VPC/VNets.
CoPilot Health	Shows the CPU, memory, and disk usage of the CoPilot, and the status of its background services.
View in System Health	Link on the CoPilot Health and Controller Health cards that opens Settings > System Health.
Controller Health	Shows the CPU, memory, and disk usage of the Controller.
Controller Upgrade
Controller Upgrade	Card title when a Controller software or image upgrade is the next recommended action. The card is not shown when the Controller and gateways are already up to date, or when gateway upgrades are next.
Controller Version Unsupported	Card title when the current Controller version is past its end-of-support date.
Update Recommended	Alert on the Controller Upgrade card summarizing how many versions the Controller is behind (for example, Update Recommended: Current version is 2 versions behind.). Severity is warning when two or more versions behind, otherwise info.
Current Controller Version Is Unsupported.	Error alert on the Controller Version Unsupported card prompting you to upgrade for compatibility and latest features.
Upgrade Path	On the Controller Upgrade card, the recommended Controller upgrade target. Shows a single version when the upgrade stays within the current major.minor release family; shows an arrow-separated sequence of one version per intermediate major.minor family (for example, `10.1 → 10.2 → 11.0`) when the upgrade spans multiple release families.
Plan Upgrade	Button on the Controller Upgrade or Gateway Upgrade card that opens the corresponding Administration > Maintenance upgrade page.
Gateway Upgrade
Gateway Upgrade	Card title when gateway software or image upgrades are the next recommended action. The card is not shown when a Controller upgrade is still required, or when all gateways are up to date.
Update Recommended	Alert on the Gateway Upgrade card summarizing how many gateways are behind and by how many versions (for example, Update Recommended: 3 gateways are 2 versions behind.).
Gateway Upgrade Path	On the Gateway Upgrade card, the recommended gateway target version. When all gateways share one version, the path shows current → target; when gateways run mixed versions, the target version is shown.
All gateways are up to date.	Message on the Gateway Upgrade card when no gateways require an upgrade.
Global Platform Health	Shows open platform-level alerts and affected entity counts.
View in Alerts	Link on the Global Platform Health card that opens Monitor > Alerts.
Gateways Health	Shows the number of gateways that are down, grouped by gateway type.
Connection Health	Shows the number of connections that are down, grouped by connection type.
Detected Intrusions	Shows the most recent detected threats and intrusions.

Viewing Resource Dashboard

To view the Resource Dashboard, in Aviatrix CoPilot, click Dashboard. Scroll to the Resources section. The Resources section appears with the resource distribution charts.

Cloud Accounts
Cloud Accounts	Shows the total number of cloud accounts added to the platform.
Number of Accounts with issue	Shows the number of cloud accounts with any issue.
VPCs or VNets
VPCs or VNets	Shows the total number of VPCs or VNets in the cloud.
Unmanaged VPC Count	Shows the number of unmanaged VPCs or VNets.
Transit Gateways
Transit Gateways	Shows the total number of Transit Gateways and their status.
Spoke Gateways
Spoke Gateways	Shows the total number of Spoke Gateways and their status.
Edge Gateways
Edge Gateways	Shows the total number of Edge Gateways and their status.
Other Gateways
Other Gateways	Shows the total number of other gateways and their status.
VMs
VMs by Cloud	Shows the number of VMs grouped by cloud provider.
VMs by Type	Shows the number of VMs grouped by instance type.
VMs by Status	Shows the number of VMs grouped by running status.
Gateways
Gateways by Cloud	Shows the number of gateways grouped by cloud provider.
Gateways by Type	Shows the number of gateways grouped by type such as Transit, Spoke, and Edge.
Gateways by Size	Shows the number of gateways grouped by instance size.
Gateways by Region	Shows the number of gateways grouped by cloud region.
