The Readiness Check applies to Controller upgrades only. Gateway upgrades have
their own separate readiness checks under Gateway Upgrade.
Prerequisites
- An Aviatrix Controller.
- A CoPilot account that can initiate upgrades.
Run a Readiness Check
1
Open Controller Upgrade
In CoPilot, go to Administration > Maintenance > Controller Upgrade.
2
Select a target version
Select the Target Version to check against.
3
Run the check
Click Run Readiness Check (or Re-Run Readiness Check if a
previous result is already showing). Readiness checks run in the
background; check back in a few minutes for results.
4
Review the results
When the check completes, the page shows counts for Failed
(Blocker), Failed (Non-Blocker), Could Not Run, and
Passed, followed by the list of issues. Each issue shows its
severity, a description, and a Support link.If there are no blocking failures, the upgrade can proceed. If any
check reports a Failed (Blocker) result, resolve the issue (or
contact Aviatrix Support) before you upgrade.
Limitations
- Only one Readiness Check can run at a time. Starting a new check while one is in progress returns an error.
- The Readiness Check covers Controller upgrades only. Gateway upgrade readiness checks are separate.
