The Aviatrix Edge Transit Gateway provides a secure, high-performance networking
solution designed to simplify and accelerate hybrid and multicloud connectivity.
It enables seamless routing and end-to-end encryption across various cloud
providers and on-premises environments while providing centralized management
and operational visibility.

The Edge Transit Gateway simplifies hybrid cloud networking by:

* **Unified cloud-native routing**: Seamlessly connects cloud environments and
  on-premises datacenters using dynamic routing protocols, reducing operational
  overhead.
* **High Performance Encryption (HPE)**: Secure end-to-end encrypted
  connections, ensuring data privacy and compliance.
* **Centralized visibility**: Provides real-time insights and monitoring across
  multicloud and hybrid networks, improving operational efficiency.
* **Automated deployments**: Integration with tools such as Terraform, allows

environments. An Edge Transit Gateway pair deployed in high availability (HA)
can connect to all these cloud service providers simultaneously.

## Does Aviatrix Edge Transit Gateway support interconnectivity provider environments?

The Edge Transit Gateway is integrated with Equinix Network Edge and Megaport
Virtual Edge environments where the service is deployed as a VM in these
environments and bootstrapped via zero-touch provisioning (ZTP). The Edge
Transit Gateway can then be leveraged to build virtual connections to cloud

Gateway for high performance encrypted connectivity.
